The sense of smell is undoubtedly the strongest sense that a person is blessed to have. That first walk on the beach on summer vacation, or the smell of coffee brewing on that first, crisp morning of the fall season. Maybe walking through a Christmas tree lot to pick out this year’s perfect tree, or the smell of baby powder after giving your child its first bath. Smells trigger memories! That’s what I feel candles do for us. Have you ever smelled a candle and thought, “That smells just like,……..!” I don’t know how many times I have said that. Well, that is what I want to happen every, single, time someone smells one of my candles. Yes, I want you to like the way it smells, but mostly, I want it to trigger a memory.
